The Blue Alpha SAS development kit enables the game designer, working around a PC based platform (Windows or Linux), to interface their game to any SAS compatible online system. The SAS development kit removes the game designer from having to concern themselves with the detail of the software interface (timing etc), leaving them free to concentrate on the game itself. The only implementations needed are the hooks into the game code to record the SAS events.

<b>SAS implementation has:</b>
- Compliance with SAS version 6.02.
- Includes Ticket In/Ticket Out (TITO) and Advanced Funds Transfer (AFT) facilities.
- Interface (DLL or shared lib).
- A simple interface to the game source.

<b>SAS development kit comes with the following items:</b>
- A replacement Windows serial driver (32 and 64 bit versions) adapted to incorporate 9 bit serial communication.
- A Windows DLL or Linux shared lib to interface with the SAS host.
- The headers and build link files for inclusion in your game.
- One sample security device (USB key) as a licence enabler for the SAS module.
- Demonstration applications complete with C/C++ source code to illustrate how the interface should be driven from the designer’s game code for correct functionality.
- UML state diagrams to emphasise the ordering of certain SAS sub-systems, such as hand-pays and ticket handling.
