An economic simulation based on the workers, that are controlled by the computer. The workers have a cycle with three phases: working, shopping, and resting. They try to algorithmically maximize utility at the least cost. In the previous version of the game, the main objective was to prevent the economy from collapsing and keep the workers alive and fed. I though of a way to initially balance the prices and wages such that the economy stayed working for half an hour, before all the workers died off from hunger. (I’ve written down all the calculation and can show them to you.) The workers couldn’t operate the machinery of food production fast enough and after the initial boom of construction, jobs and wages were harder to find. And, the computer players were building military units, which I didn’t account for in my calculations. And I supposed that the buildings would be built as close as possible, which effected my calculations.
