ROE REMOVING MACHINE
This machine is designed for removing fish roe from Alaska pollack and similar fishes without damaging the fish. It is a new integral dressing machine distinguished by enhanced quick dressing function and all season operational efficiency of 1 00 %. The machine ensures production of roe (4-6 ton/a day) and dressed fish (60-80 ton/a day).
This machine will withstand sever conditions found onboard ships, removes the fish roe without damaging it and has a working capacity of over 7 times more than manual operation. Roe removal is done automatically just after arranging fishes on a slat conveyor. Fishes can be filled by a serial dressing machine.
One operator puts fishes on fish-like trays of a slat conveyor by means of hooking thoracic fins. Laid fishes are transferred being pinched by upper and lowed belts. So as not to hurt roe in the belly, fishes are shifted down, then heads are cut off by a special device. Thus, roe is not subjected to harmful treatment because fish heads are cut off in advance. Then roe and entrails are pushed out by means of pushing the belly from the tail side. Pushed out roe and entrails are collected and discharged. Dressed fishes are delivered to the chute. Processing speed is 75 fishes\min, if a large number of raw fishes are stored at hand.
