1.2 About the Script

Webtools is a set of standard internet utilities
including finger, whois, and ping among others.
The whois portion of the script provides support
for the following top level domains and is the only
publicly available whois script that supports the
.co.za domain. It is also the only free program
to support this many domains as well as support the
new Shared Registration System. Most whois programs
including ones in use on major corporate websites do
not support this system, which means that other whois
scripts may tell you a domain is available even if it
is not.

2. Installation + Instructions
----------------------------------------------------
Change the first line of each file to point to
the location of perl on your server. Change the
´require output.cgi´ in each script to point to
the file ´output.cgi´ on your server. Upload the
files to your server. Chmod to 0755.
If you wish to log all requests, you should also
chmod 777 log.txt
